✨ What We Clean (and What We Don’t)

At Super Maids Cleaning Co., we’re here to give your home a fresh, sparkling feel every visit.

To keep things safe and consistent, here’s a simple guide to what’s included in our cleanings, and a few things that are outside our scope.

✅ What’s Included

Dusting and wiping surfaces
Vacuuming, sweeping & mopping floors
Bathrooms: sinks, counters, mirrors, showers, tubs, toilets
Kitchens: counters, sinks, appliance exteriors, cabinet exteriors
Emptying household garbage bins
Interior of windows, sills, baseboards (Deep Clean only)
Light tidying and organizing of visible spaces
Light surface film or odours from smoke or vaping (surface wipe-down only)
Light mineral buildup that can be removed through scrubbing (without chemical descalers)
Minor paint splatter or surface marks that can be lifted through gentle scrubbing

❌ What’s Not Included

Human or animal waste (including clogged toilets, litter boxes, carpets, yard messes, excessive mouse droppings)
Blood, vomit, or other bodily fluids
Infestations (cockroaches, bed bugs, rodents, etc.)
Mold removal (beyond small bathroom mildew)
Heavy lifting/moving of large furniture or appliances
Plumbing (unclogging toilets, sinks, drains), electrical, or pest control work
Heavy nicotine or smoke residue removal (yellowing, tar buildup, or restoration cleaning or degreasing)
use of chemical descalers such as CLR for rust, calcium, or hard-water buildup
use of paint removers, strippers, or harsh solvents for surface stains

🚫 $50 service call fee

If the cleaner can’t access the home or safely complete the job for any reason (f.ex. if they discover pests, excessive smoke residue, biohazards like feces, blood, vomit, unsafe conditions, any of the exclusions listed above, etc), the cleaning will stop for safety reasons and a $50 service call fee will apply to cover their reserved time. We will attempt to photograph the hazard and notify you as soon as possible.

🚨 Special Situations (Beyond Regular Cleaning)

Most visits are straightforward — dust, surfaces, bathrooms, kitchens, floors — but sometimes we’re called into homes where something unusual has happened. In these cases, we’ll always do what we can on the surface level, while being clear about where a licensed specialist is required.

Water Damage / Flooding: our team can handle basic water cleanup via mopping, drying, and disinfecting surface areas that got wet (i.e. thin layer of water that seeped onto the floor)
Fire or Smoke Damage: we can wipe down and freshen surrounding unaffected areas
Light Clutter or Mild Disorganization: we can provide light tidying and surface cleaning in safe areas.

❌ What’s Not Included

Water Damage / Flooding: we don’t handle major flooding, structural drying, mold remediation, or restoration (i.e. standing water, soaked drywall, carpet, sewage backup, or structural damage)
Fire or Smoke Damage: we don't handle soot cleanup, odor neutralization, or fire restoration.
Hoarding / Heavy Unsanitary Conditions: full hoarding cleanouts (that may involve accumulation of waste, spoiled food, or biohazards, or requiring removal and disposal of large volumes of items rather than normal surface cleaning), hazardous waste removal, or pest cleanup are outside our scope.

💡 Why Not?

We want every cleaning to be safe, professional, and stress-free.

Things like plumbing repairs, pest control, or hazardous cleanup are best handled by licensed specialists.

If our cleaners ever run into something outside of scope, they’ll let you know right away and suggest the best next step — while still making sure the rest of your home gets the attention it deserves.
